FIRST NOEL is an album in which I reinterpret 25 of the greatest Christmas classics in addition to 3 new tracks that I composed.

My memories of Christmas are full of wonderful moments and I wanted to stay true to the magic of those moments. I felt that the time had come for me to offer my own version of the great Christmas classics, giving them a less childish, more musical and spiritual dimension, while preserving their subtle fragility.

I surrounded myself with three faithful friends and collaborators: François Delporte, Frank Woeste and Sofi Jeannin. Together we recorded in 2 magical places: the Babel studios of my friend Armand Amar, and at the Saint-Julien-Le-Pauvre church with 8 singers with angelic and sublime voices.

FIRST CHRISTMAS will suit all ages. I made it for my son Nael whose first Christmas 2021 will be, as well as for my grandmother Odette who left us this year, and with whom we shared the last of her 99 Christmases.

A century separates them but the magic of Christmas is the same.
